Evening events happen regularly. Trivia nights, karaoke sessions, pizza nights, occasional live music. The activities exist, but participation feels optional rather than magnetic. You can absolutely meet people here, but it requires more effort than hostels where everyone naturally collides in a shared kitchen.

Private rooms in the outbuildings fare slightly better, though dampness and mold appear in several accounts. Windows and doors don't seal properly, contributing to both bug infiltration and moisture problems.

If you want to rage, this is the wrong lake town. San Pedro across the water delivers that energy.

The lakefront setting encourages daytime activity instead. Paddleboarding, swimming from the dock, rope swings nearby, exploring the nature reserve steps away. The property designed itself around relaxed lakeside living rather than hostel party culture, and that intention comes through clearly in the atmosphere.
